International Print Biennial

The twenty-third edition of International Print Biennial - Varna opens on August 14th, 2025 in the Boris Georgiev City Art Gallery, Varna, 1 Lyuben Karavelov Street.

The International Print Biennial - Varna is the first in Bulgaria and is among the ten oldest events for graphic art in Europe. With its twenty-third edition, it marks the 46th year of its creation.

 

Organizers of the International Print Biennial - Varna are: Varna Municipality, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Union of Bulgarian Artists. The direct executor of the exhibition is the Graphic Art Gallery - Varna. IPB is held under the patronage of the mayor of the city of Varna. Proof of the prestige of the Varna Biennial is the large number of authors who regularly participate in the exhibition and present countries all over the world with their works.

​The total number of countries that are represented in the biennial from all continents is over 57, such as those with centuries-old traditions in graphic art - China, Japan, Thailand, Poland, India, Turkey and Italy, and countries such as Peru, Iran are of undoubted interest. , Nepal, Paraguay, Syria and Puerto Rico.
