Founded in 2019, by Mario Hossen, Paganini Ensemble Vienna is among the few chamber ensembles dedicated to the works of Niccolò Paganini. With a focus on historically informed performance, the ensemble reveals new dimensions in his lesser-known chamber music. Between 2021 and 2025, the ensemble has performed on prestigious stages such as the Musikverein and Konzerthaus Vienna, as well as the Auditorio Nacional in Madrid, and at leading festivals including the Varna Summer International Music Festival. The ensemble actively supports contemporary music and is recording the complete chamber works of Paganini, establishing itself as a leading interpreter of this unique repertoire. It has also received significant recognition from the composer’s hometown Genova, being appointed ambassador of the “Paganini Routes” initiative, part of the European Cultural Routes programme of the European Commission. The program also features the world premiere of a work written for the ensemble by Georgi Arnaudov – Canzoni Ardenti.
